Artforce Awards

Artforce Awards are held every November. The awards celebrate traffic signal boxes (TSBs) painted from 1 November to 31 October. Independent art authorities judge the awards and recognise outstanding artwork in nine categories:

Overall Winner - $1,000
Runner Up - $500
Best Indigenous - $500
Best Reconciliation - $500
Best School - $200
Under 18 - $300
Under 12 - $250
Best Organisation - $100
Best Q150 2009 - $1,000

For age group categories, you must provide proof of age (school or Queensland Rail ID).

Who can win an Artforce award?

You are eligible for an award if you complete all of the below before the closing date for that year:

Paint your approved design on your allocated TSB
Return your Artforce Pack
Send in a photo of your TSB
Return a completed artist feedback form to Urban Smart Projects
